Product Care

A little care helps keep everyday pieces looking their best. This guide covers the main materials and product types in the Thrascher collection.

Start with your item's instructions. Check the product page, care label and any instructions included in the package. These take priority over the general advice below. If they conflict or you are unsure, contact us before cleaning or installing the item.

Ceramic, Glass and Natural Stone

Handle gently and avoid impacts or sudden temperature changes.
Dust decorative pieces with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners.
Keep acidic cleaners, including vinegar and lemon-based products, away from natural stone.

Use vases and trays only as described on their product pages. Decorative pieces are not automatically suitable for holding water or direct food contact.

Tableware and Drinkware

Check the individual listing for washing and temperature guidance before use. Do not assume an item is dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe or suitable for boiling liquids unless this is confirmed for that product.

Inspect glass and ceramic pieces for chips or cracks before use. If an item arrives damaged, stop using it and contact us.

Wood, Resin and Acrylic

Dust with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh solvents and placing hot items directly on decorative surfaces. Wipe up spills promptly and use a coaster or protective layer where appropriate.

Follow the item's instructions before applying polish, oil or cleaning products. A treatment suitable for one material may damage another finish.

Metal and Cabinet Hardware

Wipe gently with a soft cloth and dry after cleaning. Avoid abrasive pads. Use metal polish only when the instructions for the particular finish allow it; polishing can damage plated or coated surfaces.

Before installation, check the handle dimensions, screw spacing and included fittings against your cabinet or drawer. Use suitable fixings and avoid overtightening.

Pillow Covers, Cushions and Throws

Follow the individual care label for washing, drying and ironing. Some pieces require hand washing or dry cleaning. Do not use a blanket's washing instructions for a different cover or cushion.

Check whether your purchase is a cover only or includes filling. Remove a separate insert before washing a removable cover when its care instructions permit washing.

Clocks

Dust the face and frame gently with a dry, soft cloth. Keep the movement dry. For battery-operated clocks, use the battery type and polarity specified in the product instructions; do not assume batteries are included.

Use fixings suitable for the clock's weight and your wall type. Do not hang a clock by its hands or adjust the hands by force.

Wall Art, Panels and Decorative Stickers

Dust gently and keep paper prints dry. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight where it may fade the artwork. Follow the supplied instructions for hanging, mounting or applying adhesive pieces.

Check surface compatibility before applying stickers or panels. Adhesion and removal can vary with the wall finish; do not assume they can be removed without affecting paint or wallpaper.

Bathroom Accessories

Follow the material-specific advice above for dispensers, holders and organizers. Clean removable parts only as directed and avoid leaving decorative bases in standing water. For shelves or mounted accessories, use the specified mounting method and suitable fixings.
